First thing is first! In The Secret Life of the American Teenager every scene they are talking about the same thing! Like not every conversation between different people should be about if Ben should tell Amy that Adrian is pregnant. And the show all they talk about is sex! I know that's what teens talk about but theres other things they worry about (getting into college, getting good grades, how they look, how they dress, etc.) On the other hand, Pretty Little Liars seems to have more realistic conversations. The show is about a mystery but it shows more than that. Like a girl having a crush on a teacher, another girl trying to come out but suppressing it. A rich girl having a relationship with a poor boy. Another girl deals with the peer pressure of the cool kids. Before she use to be the nerd now shes popular and has a friendship with a so called nerd. Plus the clothes in Pretty Little Liars are better:)
